When installing a split unit airconditioner, a compact unit with thermostat function is mounted inside, while the heat pump is installed outside. Thanks to the closed cooling circuit and the construction, these air conditioners offer optimum efficiency and a wide range. The heat pump in these air conditioners can also be used to heat the house. Heating the house with these split units consumes little energy as well. The energy-efficieny of these split units is further underlined by using the dehumidifier function, especially in chilly periods. This is because dry air immediately feels more comfortable, and can be heated more easily.
